LNHCDA Launches National Stakeholder and Media Engagement-2024 to Promote Cultural Preservation Across Liberia

July 15,2024: We are excited to announce the National Stakeholder and Media Engagement-2024 from July 15-30, 2024! During this period, the Liberia National Heritage and Culture Development Association (LNHCDA) will lead a series of key engagements across the country. This initiative is a crucial part of our advocacy strategy, aimed at ensuring our message of cultural preservation and education reaches all corners of Liberia.

Throughout the two-week campaign, we will meet with leaders and members of diverse institutions, including Civil Society Organizations (CSOs), International Non-Governmental Organizations (INGOs), government bodies, Community-Based Organizations (CBOs), and media institutions. The goal is to promote dialogue, share our mission, and forge strong partnerships dedicated to preserving Liberia's rich cultural heritage.

In addition to these vital stakeholder meetings, we will host a series of media engagements and community discussions across the country. These events will encourage public involvement, facilitate discussions on our objectives, and provide an opportunity to gather valuable feedback from the communities we aim to serve.

As part of this initiative, LNHCDA's Executive Director, Mr. Solomon Weawea, met with Hon. Mike B. Jabateh, the Assistant Minister for Urban Affairs at the Ministry of Internal Affairs. This engagement underscores our commitment to collaborating with various sectors of society to protect and promote Liberia's cultural legacy.

We invite everyone to join us on this important journey as we work together to safeguard our national heritage and promote development through cultural preservation and education.

Stay tuned for updates and the detailed schedule. Together, let’s celebrate and preserve Liberia’s vibrant cultural diversity! 🇱🇷
